Chad McMillan grew up in Katy, Texas and came to know the Lord as a freshman at the University of Texas. He was involved in several campus ministries; including serving as President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 3 years. He was a 4-year letterman on the Longhorn football team and signed a free agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.  While pursuing a career in the NFL, God called Chad into full-time Christian ministry where he has served the Lord for over 27 years. He has worked on the staffs of several churches including Hyde Park Baptist (Austin), Second Baptist (Houston), First Baptist (Katy) and WoodsEdge Community Church (The Woodlands). Prior to launching Momentum Missions, He served as a missionary/evangelist with David Stockwell Evangelistic Association for over 5 years and has participated in over 67 international mission projects in countries including: Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Malawi, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, The Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Bangladesh, Turkey, Great Britain, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Chad is married to Nancy Jane (Otto) McMillan and has 4 children; Chase (20), Julia (18), Bobby (16), and Charlie (8 months). The McMillans live on a small farm in Whitehall where they care for their dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, goats, pig, donkeys and Texas Longhorns and where Charlie serves as the local Mayor.
