About God: There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
About Jesus: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return in power and glory to judge the world and to consummate His redemptive mission.
About the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He inspired men to write the Scriptures. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism and service.
About the Bible: The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter.
About Man: Man was created by the special act of God, in His own image, and is the crowning work of His creation. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. All people are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates people from God.
About Salvation: Salvation is God’s free gift to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We can never make up our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty.
About Eternal Security: Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. All true believers endure to the end. Those whom God has accepted in Christ, and sanctified by His Spirit will never fall away from the state of grace, but shall persevere to the end.
About Eternity: People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin (Hell), or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation (Heaven). God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. The dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all people.
About Baptism: Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the life, and the resurrection walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
About The Lord’s Supper: The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members memorialize the death of Jesus Christ and anticipate His second coming.
